This is that time of the year when we meditate upon God’s divinity as compatible to our humanity.

God assumed humanity and lived amongst us for about thirty three (33) years. We call Him Jesus Christ. He was conceived of a virgin, born in a manger, He was fully God and yet fully man. 

Such an incredible blessing, and matchless gift from God, because today, we can also participate in this amazing compatibility: we as fully human can now have the life of Christ in us. We carry the divine nature of Jesus Christ. It’s called grace.

Therefore as we celebrate, we reflect on this amazing gift: the gift of God’s grace in the person of Jesus Christ.
