The Funny thing about religious people of today and the law.
First they say, we will follow the law but not all the 613 of them, because we need just the 10 super commandments so we can enjoy our pork.
Then they say okay, let’s add the glorious commandment of 10% tithe to it to make it 11 commandments so at least we can survive financially, since our prosperity depends on that and not the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Then they come again and say, even the 11 will be difficult, so let’s take out the sabbath because on Friday even after 6pm we’ll still be at the shop selling or buying or in the office working. After all we can still get our 10 commandments by adding the tithe to appease God.
You see where religion has led us. We wash down the law to the level we are comfortable with. We are confused and we confuse the world too as we make Christianity look funny by rejecting the simplicity of God’s new way – GRACE.
NOTE: Picking and choosing is not really the way the law works. It’s actually an all-or-nothing proposition:
All who rely on observing the law and not on grace, must do it to the later else are under a curse, for it is written:
“Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do EVERYTHING written in the Book of the Law.” (Galatians 3:10)
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just ONE POINT is guilty of BREAKING ALL OF IT. (James 2:10)
Question: Can they observe all the law?.
Answer: No. In fact it’s impossible. However religion will not allow them to accept grace as the only way.
Remember we can’t mix the law and grace. Moses brought the law, Jesus brought grace (John 1:17). Marrying to Jesus and flirting with Moses is adultery (Romans 7:1-6).
